Drop off - Friday, the 20th of March

Schools may drop off items from 2:00pm - 8:00pm on Friday, the 20th of March. Meeting room space near the loading dock will be available for dropping off items and storage for the following day. We recommend dropping off items on this day due to busy loading dock and service elevators for the movement of booth material on the morning before the event.

Set Up will begin at 6am on the morning of the event (the 21st of March).

Little Stars - Big Dreams

Little Stars - Big Dreams

At the recent Bangkok International School Gateway Fair, we hosted an engaging session featuring interviews with high-achieving secondary students. A highlight video of that session from the fair is here:

Watch the Bangkok Interview Session

For the upcoming fair, we’re excited to introduce a special video segment titled “Little Stars – Big Dreams.” This session will spotlight younger students, from Kindergarten to Lower Primary, in a light-hearted and inspiring interview format. Students will be asked a few simple questions such as their name, school, grade level, favorite things about their school, and what they want to be when they grow up.

To celebrate their participation, the students will also perform a group song on stage. Full details about the song and session arrangements will be shared in the coming weeks. The song and video will be conducted in the morning (around 9am).

A shared registration spreadsheet will be sent out after school registration for those wishing to take part in the “Little Stars – Big Dreams” session.

Principals’ Perspectives - Life & Leadership in Thailand

Personal Stories - Bangkok Principals

Principal’s Perspectives – Life & Leadership in Thailand
Main Stage | Afternoon Session, 4:00 PM

This live video session will give participating schools the opportunity to have their principals or directors interviewed on the Main Stage. The session, hosted by our MC and Poon from School Track Channel, is designed to be light and conversational while providing insight into the experiences of school leaders working in Thailand.

The session will focus on the personal and professional perspectives of international school principals. Interviews will cover their background, experience living in Thailand, and their approach to leading an international school. Each interview will be brief, with a short segment at the end for the principal to share information about their school.

Example topics include:

  • Introductions: name, home country, school, and role
  • Education and professional training, and experience living in Thailand
  • Personal interests and experiences, such as favorite Thai foods or what they miss from home
  • Information about their school

A complete list of questions will be shared with participating schools in advance. Schools interested in having their principal or director take part in this session can sign up via the registration sheet, which will be sent after the New Year.

Informal Networking:

After the video session, school leaders will be invited to an informal networking session in a separate area of the hotel starting around 5pm. More info on this will be shared before the fair.

Student Talent Show

The Student Talent Shows at the Bangkok 2026 Education Fair will once again be presented in an open showcase format, allowing students to freely share their talents and creativity.

A grand piano will be available on stage and can be moved to the center as needed for performances. Music backtracks and other audio accompaniments may also be used to support individual or group acts.

Allowed Items for Student Talent Show

  • Piano - The grand piano will be placed mid-stage for the show.
  • Singing - We will have up to three hand-held microphones for singing.
  • Dancing - Student Dancers are also allowed.

Restricted Items for Student Talent Show

  • Amplified instruments - No amplified instruments are allowed, including electric guitars, keyboards, or any other instrument that needs set up, connection or amplification. There is not enough time for set up of these instruments with each slot only being 5 minutes.
  • Additional Piano amplification - The grand piano will be lightly amplified with a microphone and speaker.

FAQs for Student Talent Show

- Can a teacher or older student play the piano with younger student performers? Yes, this is fine, so long as that the emphasis of the performance is on the student performers of the age group of the show.

- How long are the time show slots? - Each slot is five minutes.

- How much to set up time is there for the stage for each performance? - There is no set up time. Due to tight time constraints, a performing group only has five minutes. This is timed with a red clock on the side of the stage.

- Is the show judged? - Yes, a panel of judges will provide scores to each performance. Students with highest marks will get trophies!

- What do students receive? All performing student groups receive a certificate.

- What kind of piano is it? - a Yamaha C3
